LogicaCMG appoints Rahul Patwadhan CEO

BANGALORE: LogicaCMG today announced the appointment of Rahul Patwardhan as the chief executive officer, application management, for its offshore and nearshore operations. Based out of Bangalore, Rahul will function as a member of the company’s global delivery team and will be responsible for all the application maintenance and support work undertaken by LogicaCMG in its offshore and nearshore locations. This will include its offshore operations in Bangalore and nearshore operations, a company press release said. LogicaCMG’s operations in India play a crucial role in the company’s global delivery operations, and Rahul’s appointment will further strengthen this capability. Prior to joining LogicaCMG, Rahul was President, Europe/Asia-Pacific at a SEI CMMI Level 5 IT solutions and services provider. His area of responsibility included the UK, Continental Europe, Greater China and Australasia amongst others. “Rahul’s experience will play an important part in our applications delivery and support capability from offshore and nearshore locations, as we grow aggressively to 2200 staff in India by end 2005,” said Martin Blackburn, chief executive of LogicaCMG’s global delivery operation.
