Lockheed Martin to start operations in India

New Delhi: Lockheed Martin, a U.S based company providing information technology services to the government, has announced the opening of its India subsidiary - Lockheed Martin India.
The fully owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Global would represent the interests of all the operating systems of Lockheed Martin in India.
Besides defense services, Lockheed Martin is also looking to establish its presence in spaces like information technology, aerospace security and RFID Technology.
Douglas A. Hartwick will take over as the chief executive of the India subsidiary. Headquartered in Bethesda (USA), the company employs about 140,000 people worldwide and is primarily engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
