Lanco Infratech net profit plunges 2.72 percent during FY2010

Mumbai: Infrastructure firm Lanco Infratech reported a 2.72 percent decrease in its consolidated net profit for the fiscal ended March 31 at 
446.07 crore as against 458.55 crore during the like period of the previous fiscal.
The net operating income also tumbled 4.89 percent at 7,783.73 crore during the period under review as compared to 8,184.04 crore during the like period of the previous financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The order book stood at 30.2 crore as on March 31, including major orders received during the year such as 1,200 MW engineering, procurement and construction order from Moser Baer company and building other industrial projects.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company slipped 3.99 percent lower to trade at 32.50.
