Know All About Beating Retreat

Unfurling of National Flag:  PBG Commander takes permission from the President to start the ceremony and then asks the unit to give the National Salute, which is followed by the playing of the Indian National Anthem by three bands in unison and the Flag is unfurled by the President. The President is then seated with majors of Army, Navy and Air force right behind.

Three Services in Unison: Tunes like Colonel Bogey and Sons of the Brave are played by the massed bands of three services in unison which heralds the start of the ceremony.
