Keynote'11 to enable streaming slides to Apple TV

Bangalore: Steve Jobs has hinted on a possible way of sending Keynote presentations via the Apple TV to the big screen. The revelation came through TUAW which reported that Jobs replied to the mail query of a fan who asked, "Will the new Apple TV accept keynote presentation via iOS device or a Mac?" To this Jobs replied, "It's all coming soon. Stay tuned." This means users of Keynote'11 specially can create presentations and stream it to the big screen via the Apple TV. The same will also work from an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch) to an Apple TV. Jobs's reply further hints to the involvement of AirPlay in iWork, thereby explaining why the delay in launch of iWork. However, to use the feature, mobile devices would require iOS 4.2 and more Mac OS X components. When it launches, wireless presentations through Apple TV will be a first in the industry as rivals Boxee Box or Roku Internet Players don't boast of the same feature. There have been several updates on the launch of iWork'11 and that the software being exclusively available in the Mac App Store, but there has been no confirmed date of its launch yet.
