Karnataka court to inform listing of cases through SMS

Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court will provide information on the listing of cases through SMS to litigants and lawyers, the court's registrar said. "Listing of cases in the cause-list filed in the high court and its circuit benches will be made available to the interested parties through SMS. Litigants, lawyers and others have to register their mobile numbers on the web interface of the court's website," the registrar said in a statement. The dedicated facility has been developed on the directive of Chief Justice J.S. Khehar for the benefit of the public. The public have also been asked to give suggestions and feedback to the registrar through e-mail at shhourt@nic.in.
