KPMG to launch report on unlicensed usage of software

New Delhi: KPMG, a global financial services firm, will release its survey report on usage of unlicensed softwares tomorrow. The study is named as 'Is Unlicensed Software Usage Hurting Your Bottom Line?' It is well known that the installation of unlicensed software has been causing a huge revenue loss for software companies worldwide. The report is based on a survey of software companies in association International Business Software Managers Association (IBSMA). In addition, KPMG has interviewed compliance executives at six prominent software companies to validate the survey. The KPMG report will also give Top 10 recommendations for successful compliance reviews. The survey report will inform software customers who wish to gain insights into publishers’ license compliance efforts and practices.
