SANTA CLARA, CA: Ashok Narasimhan and Rajesh Reddy founded July Systems has secured a patent for its technology for personalization of mobile content services. The patent (U.S. Patent 7076562) was issued for July's Application Intermediation Gateway (AIG) that forms an integral part of its mobile service delivery platform. This service enables real-time personalization of mobile content services based on any individual subscriber's history and preferences. Rajesh Reddy, co-founder and President, said the technology allows mobile operators, content publishers and other retailers to dramatically enhance the mobile content experience and increase content revenues by using consumer profiles and content purchase history to provide users with the content they want most. Ashok Narasimhan, Chairman and CEO says,“Personalization has long been the mobile content industry's holy grail. With July's patented technology, mobile carriers, content retailers and big brands can finally break down the walls in mobile to take full advantage of the world's most pervasive platform and establish meaningful relationships with potentially billions of subscribers. July is very proud to play such a critical role in this long-awaited step in mobile.”
