NEW DELHI: Jet Airways and Air Sahara are in a close bid to launch flights to London and other distance places on contracts with other airways. Soon after the recent sanctioning of flight-launch to London, both the contenders are keen on look out for the new aircrafts for London and beyond. Air Sahara has been allowed to launch two-flights to london thhis summer while Jet Airways has garnered seven schedules a week, enabling a daily schedule. With the government having cleared the bill both airlines are in a fiery race with each other to lease Boeing B777 aircraft too from the international market. Since the most preferred aircrafts are A340s and B777s, Air Sahara has signed up three Airbus A310s as a back up alternative.
