New Delhi: India's leading private air carrier Jet Airways is considering airfare hike during the festive season next month. "We have not decided on increasing airfare, but we intend to do so during the festive season. Even if we do so, the fare hike will not be very high," Jet Airways chief executive Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said here Wednesday. He said the airline would raise up to $800 million from the market in the next two years. "We will break even and post profits by March 2010," he added. Prock-Schauer added that the company was working out a plan for maintenance, repair and overhauling of its facilities, but nothing has been decided yet. At present, the airline is focussed on its expansion plan for international and domestic routes. "By November end we will have two wide-body Airbus A-330s aircraft. These aircraft will fly to foreign destinations like Hongkong, Dubai and Saudi Arab," he said.
