NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court today said that all disputes related to the aborted $500 million Jet-Sahara deal will be heard by the Bombay High Court. A bench headed by Chief Justice YK Sabharwal has asked the Bombay High Court to decide the issue of jurisdiction on a priority basis. While Sahara, based in Lucknow, has asked for Lucknow as the jurisdiction of the case, Jet says that it should be Mumbai as it is based in Mumbai. In January this year, Jet has signed a deal to acquire Sahara airlines with it creating one of Asia’s largest airlines. However the deal fell through in June this year after accusations and counter accusations by both the parties over delays in merger of the airlines.
