J- SIG & ESC to lead joint delegation to Japan

BANGALORE: ESC (Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council), an autonomous organization under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India and J-SIG (Japan-Special Interest Group) will together lead a delegation of Indian IT companies to from 9th – 11th July. The Indian delegates will be meeting senior executives of Japanese companies like Fujitsu, Honda, Matsushita, Mitsubishi, NEC, NTT, Sharp, Sony, TDK, Toshiba, and Toyota apart from several Japanese SMEs. The event is supported by Japan Business Society & Japan Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation; and cooperated by Indian Embassy in Japan, Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The delegates will participate in the Software Development Expo & Conference where they will have an opportunity to discuss with the Japanese corporates on a one-to-one basis and explore the business opportunities. Brainchild of J-SIG, Dr. K. G. Suresh said, "The event will facilitate an exchange of business interests most economically which would otherwise be difficult. The delegates will have face-to-face meetings with industry leaders apart from many Japanese SMEs who are willing to consider and outsource ICT projects to Indian software firms."
