Iran seeks Indian help in biosciences, IT

HYDERABAD: Aiming to replicate the Indian IT and BT success back home, Iran today sought Indian collaboration for technology transfer in biosciences and IT apart from asking Indian scientists and students to join universities and research centers in Iran. Md Hussain Sannathi of the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Iran said that Iran and India exchange technologies like recombinant protein. He also said a student exchange program would be beneficial for both the countries and it was conducting various workshops and seminars to sell Iran as an ideal destination for research in IT, nanotechnology and biotechnology.
