Intransa gets new chief from Sun

BANGALORE: Intransa Inc., a global player in IP-SAN storage, has announced the appointment of B. Chandrasekhar as head of its operations in India. Chandrashekar joins Intransa from Sun Microsystems and is charged with leading Intransa's strategy and business in this increasingly important market. Chandrasekhar, who until recently spearheaded the fibre channel network storage initiative at Sun Microsystems in India, is a recognized storage expert in the Indian subcontinent. Mr. Chandrashekar has previously held key leadership positions at HCL, Wipro, Motorola and Sun Microsystems, in India and abroad.
