Intelligroup appoints Prithviraj as COO

HYDERABAD: Intelligroup has appointed Ranjit Prithviraj as the Chief Operating Officer of Intelligroup Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intelligroup, Inc., Based out of Intelligroup’s India headquarters in Hyderabad, his key priorities will be to provide leadership to the different business groups in the company, and ensure their growth and expansion, as they serve both, national and international markets. In addition, he will also oversee general administration, operational as well as support functions viz. internal systems, HR and Training, operations & recruitment and marketing communications. Prithviraj joined Intelligroup in 1997 and has had an good track record with the company. He has been responsible for taking on multiple initiatives for the company’s growth and expansion, and has been closely associated with some of the company’s biggest clients including a world leading beverage company, a world leading oil and gas company, GE, Procter and Gamble, Eastman Chemical, Exxon Mobil, Hitachi, and Pearson Publishing. Prior to his current new role, he served as the Senior Vice President for the global management services organization where he led the growth of the managed services business from $20 million to $50 million in two years. Ranjit will also serve on Intelligroup’s Board of Directors in India and in the U.K. Prior to this, Prithviraj worked as Senior Business Analyst at Comsys, a multi-million dollar global IT services firm based in Somerset,NJ, from 1995 to1997, and as sales and operations manager at the multi-million dollar apparel manufacturing firm Daval Designs, Inc., based in Los Angeles, CA, from 1993 to 1995. Ranjit has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the Bangalore University.
