Informatica names Bertelsen to Board of Directors

REDWOOD CITY: Gaurav Dhillon led Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), a provider of business analytics software, Friday announced that Mark A. Bertelsen, senior partner of the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, has been appointed to Informatica's board of directors. "I am delighted to have Mark join our board," said Gaurav Dhillon, president and CEO of Informatica. "Mark has an impressive record of helping companies grow. His wealth of business, legal and technology experience will be of immense value to Informatica as we continue to assert our leading position in the analytics space." Bertelsen represents clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including a number of leading computer software companies and major investment banks. As a business lawyer, he focuses on corporate, finance, and securities law for technology and other growth companies. Mr. Bertelsen also serves as a director of Autodesk, Inc. and a number of private companies. Bertelsen joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1972, has served for many years on the Executive Committee, and was managing partner from 1991 to 1996. He received his law degree (JD) from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley, in 1969, and a BA in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1966.
