Indo-Fuji strengthens presence in Japan

BANGALORE: The Bangalore based middle-ware application and system software company Indo-Fuji Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Wednesday announced the opening of offices in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. These three offices would have an investment of 30 Million Yens. (1.5 crore). Pursuing an aggressive expansion strategy Indo Fuji intends to expand its operations in Kanto, Kansai and Tokai regions with dedicated BDM’s working to strengthen the local presence. Through these offices Indo-Fuji would tap new opportunities for software services in the, Automobile, Manufacturing and Banking & Finance sectors. The Tokyo office would focus on getting business from the Banking and Financial corporates, Osaka office would cater to Engineering Services & Enterprise Solutions for the manufacturing firms and Nagoya would focus on the automobile industries. Dr. K.G. Suresh, CEO & Managing Director, Indo-Fuji Information Technologies, said, "Japanese are very particular about their business partners to be in close proximity. They feel more comfortable when they know that their business partners are easily accessible. With these offices we are looking at capitalizing on the opportunities that the large industry in Japan such as the Automobile industry, Manufacturing sector and Banking & Finance, have to offer." Dinavahi, General Manager, Corporate Planning & Business Development, Indo-Fuji, said, "As a part of our marketing strategy we are looking at increasing our presence to cater to the entire Japan. Our offices in Japan would generate business that would be done out of our development centers in Japan and Bangalore. Our strong presence and expanse in Japan would help us meet our mission, namely to serve Japanese clients globally." "The lead time of doing business in Japan is long and with the presence of our offices in the three locations we will be able to reduce the lead time considerably and shorten the business cycle time," added Dr. Suresh.
