2. Bomb Blast in Mumbai’s Local Train:

Mumbai people depend more on local trains than buses for their travelling inside the city. But, the terrorists had not even left this destination to show off their horrific play. Yes, on 11^th July, 2006, there was a serial bomb blasts in just eleven minutes that took place in the suburban railway, Mumbai. The bombs were placed inside pressure cookers on trains plying the Western line of the Suburban Railways network. This terrible bomb attack on the local train took away the lives of 209 people and injured more than 700 people. Mumbai Police reported that these bombings were carried out by top terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba and by the Students Islamic Movement of India. The timing of this bomb attack was very well planned, as it took place during the evening hours when most of the employees were leaving to their homes from workplace.
