Saina Nehwal: The golden girl of Indian badminton, Saina Nehwal reached the zenith of world badminton by ending up as top three in the World after winning Bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics. She is regarded as the prolific Indian Badminton player and arguably the best female Indian badminton player the country have ever produced.

Her biggest achievement was reaching the quarter final round at the London Olympics and thereby winning a bronze for the country. She has also been awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award for her brilliant performance in international tournaments.

Ashwini Nachappa: A well known Indian athlete from Karnataka, Ashwini Nachappa became popular as the glory girl of Indian female sprinting in the early 80’s having beaten P.T. Usha. There were many great moments in her life, with regards to her achievements. Nachappa gained popularity during the 1980s after she outran P.T. Usha on two distinct events. Nachappa received the esteemed Arjuna award in the year 1990. She has also been featured in some Telugu and Tollywood movies. Ashwini Nachappa is also renowned social worker, scholar and has also established a school.
