Indian tech firm acquires US Company

MUMBAI:TAKE Solutions, a mid-sized Mumbai based technology solutions company has acquired a US-based software company 4BSoft for $1 million to expand its presence in the overseas market. The acquisition will help TAKE Solutions significantly enhance its delivery platform for customers in the Asia-Pacific region and further augment the company's existing client base in the US. "The two companies are not only successful players in their respective space but also have extremely complementary businesses across various dimensions," said H.R. Srinivasan, founder of TAKE Solutions. "This will enable us to take one of the leading positions in the promising life sciences vertical." Krish Vaidyanathan, president of 4Bsoft, said: "Leveraging our respective domain expertise in the life sciences vertical will allow us to offer existing and new customers the best value proposition possible. "We feel the synergies accruing from this transaction will lead to a stronger and more competitive positioning and an expanded customer base for the company." Set up in 2000, 4BSoft's current portfolio of clients includes leading corporates. Under the agreement, all employees will become a part of the TAKE Solutions team. The company, which has software development centres in the US and India, offers services in industry verticals like pharmaceuticals and life sciences. TAKE Solutions has a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East with supply chain management and business process management being its primary domain.
