Indian nominated to U.S. Academy of Sciences

NEW DELHI:Eminent scientist RA Mashelkar has been nominated member of the prestigious U.S. National Academy of Sciences. Mashelkar, Director General of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is the eighth Indian to be nominated to the academy. Prof. CNR Rao and Dr. MS Swaminathan are among the other Indian scientists who have received the honor earlier.
