Kolkata: To hire talents at a relatively lower cost, headhunters and the companies alike are tapping the strangest of places like churches, parking bays, matrimonial websites and chemist shops, reported The Economic Times. The trend that would reduce 20 to 30 percent less costly is seen in the sectors like retail, FMCG, banking, financial services and insurance. ?There is a huge clutter in the conventional models of talent search which may often lead to three to four recruiters simultaneously chasing the same candidate. An unconventional channel will provide access to fresh talent,? TeamLease Service Vice President Rajesh AR told ET. TeamLease, one of the largest domestic staffing solution firms, acquires approximately 30 percent of its talent requirement for the sub-15,000 per month salary slots, from such unconventional sources, which mainly tend to throw up good candidates for slots like medical representatives, shop floor employees and sales executives. In this new dynamics, the headhunter would be waiting in a parking bay or doctor?s chamber or a church. Future Group and Dabur India, for instance, are looking in a similar fashion to update their database. ?NGOs work with all types of people. Some we have come across are also form MBAs from Harvad,? Sanjay Jog, Future group HR head told ET.
