Indian hackers' army to hack hostile nation's systems

New Delhi: India is all set to enter into the arena of cyber war. The government is forming an army of software professionals to hack computer systems of hostile nations. According to the proposal by government administrators, IT workers and ethical hackers, who sign up for the project will get protection from law.
The software professionals will have to use their expertise to breach the security walls of enemy systems.
In recent times, India faced a spate of assaults on its computer systems, and the government is worried about spying attempts from neighbouring countries like China and Pakistan. According to the Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto, a China-based group of hackers had conducted extensive spying operations in India, stealing defence ministry's confidential documents.
The National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) along with Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) will be responsible for creating cyber-offensive capabilities, said the government proposal. NTRO uses to gather technical intelligence, while DIA compare inputs from the Navy, Army and Air Force.
Apart from gathering technical intelligence, NTRO will also suggest measures to ensure legal protection to recruits. The move is expected to persuade software professionals into joining the government group as under the Indian IT Act, hacking is punishable with imprisonment up to three years, or carries a fine up to 2 lakh, or both.
According to Vikas Desai, lead technical lead of network security firm RSA, the government's efforts can be classified as ethical hacking, as many countries and organisations in the world have already adopted this infrastructure.
India is due to produce nearly 5.71 lakh technical graduates and postgraduates in 2010. Hence, recruitment may not be a problem, according to Nasscom.

This kind of news are never made public.
Hacking is an international crime. This is
just a trick used by government to assure
people that we are secure. Our defence
already got corrupted. Most of the computer
devices used in our defence are Chinese
origin. This news was leaked in public. Our
defence feared that due to this we can be in
danger because they feared that chinese may
have backdoored the systems and maybe
stealing our information. Our defence never
checked that systems for vulnerabilities.
They are did it latter and maybe still
continuing now. Instead of first hacking into
enemy countries systems, they must first
check their own stability and security. Our
country has lot of talented & intelligent
people in I.T. security, but I don't know why
our government don't have any privilege for
them in defence and local security like
police etc. Talent is being neglected. Some
people are still working for sake of our
country in underground. Salute to them all.

been done long back. In fact in addition to
hacking hostile nation's systems, we must
also set up proper security systems, which
can protect all our valuable information. If
other nations can do this, we must also give
them a fitting reply. The time has come to
stand on our own legs... instead of begging

It is a wrong step in my view:
1.India has already good mathematicians who can come up with strong cryptographic algorithms we have companies like TCS,Wipro etc who can do security set up in hardware layers as well as O/S layers between kernel and applications .
2.Indians should concentrate on getting jobs and creating new products using r & d.
3.It is the wrong direction to take ,plz use our influence with russia and USA and ask United nations to enact strict Cyber laws.
Ask USA ,NATO Countries to increase funding for Interpol and give powers to make arrests across borders just like war crimes are treated.That is the right way.
5.If every country takes this approach it gets pretty muddled and no one knows what is really going on .
6.India has adopted Non Aligned status that is why we can take a stand on international matters without any pressure and make independant judgement on international matters.
7.Please stop this ,and concentrate on making arrangements to use Mathematical talent that we have at Indian Stastical Institute calcutta ,Indian Institute Of Science bangalore,
and all the I.T companies
8.I appeal to all political parties the ruling congress ,bjp to reconsider it and not to go on this path.
9.our mindset should be towrads building things ,constructing things becuase that is what we are and we should do.Infosys ,HCL ,Wipro ,Tcs have all adopted the approach of this path and have become globally respected companies and are envy of others.

X-rackets that disturb the youngsters mind n lower their mind powers its cyber police they should also introduce humanitarian knowledges so that when they judge the crime they shouldnot get waved out by them, they should judge up what is right rr wrong and they shoud be morally satisfied up to know what is right and what is wrong..........
they shouldnot get frustrated with their work......
