Indian biz expects to see more competition in next 2-yr

New Delhi: Indian businesses are expected to see more competition in the next two years as many entities would focus on competitive strategies, including higher market share to tap the country's growth, says a latest report. According to a Ernst & Young study titled 'Competing for Growth', 95 per cent of the Indian respondents state that their market will be more competitive over the next two years while globally, 85 per cent of executives believe the same. "With over 8.5 per cent GDP growth, India continues to offer enormous potential, it is getting equally competitive, particularly on key aspects like building market share, accessing talent and other input costs," said Farokh Balsara, Partner and National Leader Markets at Ernst & Young India.
