Fremont: Indian American Sati Achath, a quarter-finalist on NBC's "America's Got Talent" show in 2008, is now making his mark in the publishing world with a book on the Hollywood celebrities. Achath hails from Thrissur in Kerala and is a former Indian Revenue Service officer. After leaving the IRS, he came to the U.S. in 1988 to pursue his MBA. He has been with the World Bank since 1992. Sati, a Project Evaluation Specialist for the World Bank in Washington D.C., has been recognized by the U.S. Government as a 'Person of Extraordinary Ability.' He is well known as a ventriloquist, caricaturist, and hand shadow puppeteer. Achath's "Hollywood Celebrities: Basic Things You've Always Wanted to Know," which released earlier this summer, presents biographical snapshots and hand-drawn caricatures of 55 popular Hollywood celebrities of the current generation. The books provides certain interesting facts on stars like George Clooney, Michael Douglas, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Demi Moore, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, and many more.
