Indian-American firm in Gartner's 'Cool' list

NEW DELHI: Virtela, a global network solutions company headed by Vab Goel, has been included in global consultancy major Gartner's list of 'Cool Vendors in Network Services' for the current year. Cool vendor is a company that offers technologies or solutions that are innovative, impactful and intriguing, a company release said. "The listing does not constitute an exhaustive list of vendors in any given technology area, but rather is designed to highlight interesting, new and innovative vendors, products and services," the release added. “Virtela is honored to be recognized by Gartner as a 'Cool Vendor,” said Goel, who is Virtela's chairman. He said the recognition reinforce the benefit derived from solutions that reduce capital expenses, protect existing investments and ensure consistent network performance in a turbulent market climate at an attractive price.
