India offers ICT partnership with Brunei

New Delhi: India said it was keen to share its expertise in the field of information communications and technology (ICT) with Brunei. This was announced by Shakeel Ahmad, minister of state for communications and information technology, during talks here with a visiting delegation from Brunei led by Communications Minister Pehin Abu Baker Apong. Ahmad said more seminars and conferences should be encouraged between IT companies of the two countries. Apong informed his government had invested $1 billion for several e-governance programmes in his country. He also invited the Indian government to participate in 200 such e-governance projects in Brunei.
