NEW YORK: Indian Analysts, fund managers and traders are taking the Chartered Financial Analyst exams in growing numbers and have some of the highest pass rates in the world as demand for the certification grows. Among those who took the Level I test in December worldwide, 34 percent passed, down from 36 percent in the same period a year earlier. In India, 1,288 candidates took the test, more than double the 580 a year earlier, the CFA said. India had the third-best pass rate at 36 percent. Germany was No. 2 at 42 percent, while the pass rate in the U.S. was 34 percent.
