Bangalore: In what turns out to be an failed attempt of terror strike, an Israeli embassy vehicle was bombed in the capital city of New Delhi and the Indian Home minister P Chidambaram termed this “a terror attack” carried out by  “a very well-trained person." Four persons were injured including the diplomat’s wife Tal Yehoshua Koren, who is still in hospital but in stable condition.

“It is very clear that a very well-trained person has committed this attack. There is also reason to believe that the target was the Israeli diplomat's wife. Therefore, one has to proceed on the basis that it was a terrorist attack," Chidambaram told reporters.

After Pakistan, now it seems like Iran is exporting terror to India as the suspected terror outfits chose the Indian soil to blow off the Israeli diplomat’s official vehicle. Promising to act methodically against Iranian-backed terrorism, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Iran is behind these attacks. Israel will act methodically and take strong yet patient action against the international terrorism that originates in Iran.” He lined the terror strike on Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia to Lebanon’s Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia.

Meanwhile, Iran has categorically denied any connection to the bombing of the embassy vehicle in New Delhi or to the bomb planted under an Israeli diplomatic car in the Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.
