HYDERABAD: Atlanta-based Internet Security Systems (ISS) will soon start center of excellence in India. The center will begin functioning by year-end. The ISS has tied up with Virtusa Corporation and will initially hire about 100 people working on new product development, security content packaging and existing solutions before adding other services in the future. ``Over a period of time we would like to have other operations and grow the group. We would like to make use of the rich talent pool available in India,'' stated Heath Thompson, vice-president (Engineering), ISS, while announcing the company's plan to open the center. In India, the 1994-formed company has a sales office in Bangalore.
