Bangalore:Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched the mobile version of its official website which allows users to book tickets using mobile.

Customers can use their existing user name and password for accessing the mobile site, book tickets and pay online with credit or debit card. Users will get a reservation message on the completion of process, which can be used as a substitute for ticket.

Currently mobiles users were able to book tickets only using the available apps like Paymate, Ngpay and Atom which works on many platforms including Java, Symbian and android. But With the introduction of IRCTCs own mobile website which is accessible from any GPRS enabled phone, the task seem to get much easier.
