IP Unity promotes Subhajit as V-P of customer operations

MILPITAS, CA: IP Unity, which provides carrier-grade servers and application voice over IP, has promoted Subhajit Bagchi to senior vice president of customer operations and quality.
Bagchi joined IP Unity in 2004 to expand global customer service operations. A company representative wasn't immediately available to specify his title before the promotion.
Before IP Unity, he was general manager of an unspecified business unit in JDS Uniphase Corp. He joined JDS Uniphase through their acquisition of Altamar Networks, a provider of switching and transmission systems, where Subhajit headed their engineering organization.
Milpitas, CA based IP Unity provides media servers, application servers and real-time multimedia applications over IP and switched networks. Its server system delivers media processing and carrier-class IP telephony services.
