IOC net profit drops 46 percent in Q3

NEW DELHI:The country's largest petroleum company Indian Oil Corp., today reported a 46 percent drop in its net profit at Rs 1286.76 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 over the same quarter last fiscal.
The company had recorded a higher net profit of Rs 2403.44 crore in October-December 2003.
IOC's revenues, however, rose from Rs 31196.29 crore in October-December 2003 to Rs 37274.05 crore this year.
