Bangalore: Business school, INSEAD has selected Zyme Solutions and its outsourcing business model in the area of distribution channel analytics as the subject of a business case study. The case examines the concept of outsourcing, a mission-critical business problem to create additional value relative to in-house alternatives, while freeing up employees to analyze results and make better business decisions rather than focusing on narrow, task-based execution. The case classifies Zyme as a “high-value outsourcer” that replaces an often incomplete, internal technology-based solution with a comprehensive solution for distribution channel visibility. Christoph H. Loch, who authored the study said, "The company is a real innovator in the realm of high-value outsourcing. We explored this concept of high-value outsourcing and examined how companies can turn over a mission-critical process to a third party to create greater value for both themselves and the outsourcer. Because there is so much discussion in today’s marketplace about off-shoring and outsourcing, it is important to study newer business models that can essentially change the way people think about outsourcing.” Chandran Sankaran, CEO of Zyme feels that this partnership would help the company's clients are able to use information in a more methodical way to control program expenditures, and make more informed financial and operational decisions.
