IIM-A, B, C in Asia-Pacific Top 10

Bangalore: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) - Bangalore, Ahmadabad Calcutta and Indian School of Business (ISB) are ranked in the top 10 in the Asia-Pacific region, as per the QS Global 200 Business Schools Report 2012. The IIM’s continue to be the quality B-schools in the country. The IIM-Ahmadabad ranked second while IIM-Bangalore ranked fifth and IIM-Calcutta ranked eighth.

The QS Global 200 Business Schools Report had originated in the early 1990s and it provides a detailed overview of the most popular business schools around the world based on information given by global recruiters. The report consists of ratings by region and specialization. It includes 82 schools in North America, 67 schools in Europe, 36 schools in Asia-Pacific, 10 schools in Latin America and 5 schools in Africa and the Middle East.

INSEAD, Singapore ranked first in the region for the third consecutive year, followed by IIMA in the second place. Melbourne Business School (University of Melbourne, Australia) ranked third while National University of Singapore Business School (NUS) ranked fourth. IIMB took the fifth position. University of New South Wales, Australia ranked sixth while Indian School of Business ranked seventh. IIMC ranked eighth and China Europe International Business School ranked ninth. The HKUST Business School, Hong Kong took the tenth position.
