Chicago: The software giant IBM is taking back its recently laid off employees for the company's operations in the growing markets like India and Russia. IBM will provide visa assistance to its outgoing employees who are willing to take up jobs in any of these markets, apart from helping them with moving costs. The software company, who has recently handed out many pink slips, has introduced 'Project Match', a program to help its outgoing workers in the U.S. and Canada to grab an IBM job in India, Nigeria and Russia, as per a notice of the company. IBM has laid off more than 4,000 workers in the U.S. since the beginning of January, according to an employee group. Apart from providing a job, the firm will also offer financial assistance to offset moving costs, provide immigration support, such as visa assistance, and other support to help ease the transition of an international move. Apart from India and Russia, the other countries where the employees will see job opportunities will be China, Brazil, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates.
