Bangalore: There are certain cars with stylistic features and latest technologies that are showcased to gauge customer reaction. Such cars are stated as concept vehicles or show vehicles. Listed below are some cars with stunning designs. Have a look!
Citroen Survolt
The Survolt is a small-sized racing car based on the concept car REVOLTe presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Since the car runs on battery power alone it is categorized as a zero-emissions vehicle.
The Survolt is 3.85 metres long, 1.87 metres wide and 1.20 metres high and features a design with the front dominated by the vehicle's badge located above the large oval-shaped grille.
It has horizontal LED headlamps which have lower power consumption than traditional filament bulbs, important in a battery-operated vehicle.
At the back the car preserves the light cluster design used on the REVOLTe, and has a spoiler to increase rear downforce.
Citroen GT
The astounding GT by CITROEN is the original car to be exclusively designed to bring the virtual and real worlds together. Citroen GT was designed for Gran Turismo 5. It sports an electric drive train powered by a fuel cell with no pollutant emissions.
The car is the consequence of a partnership between Citroen and Polyphony, designer of the driving simulation game Gran Turismo 5 on Playstation 3.
