BANGALORE: Hexaware Technologies announced that it has won a major assignment with a leading manufacturer. This is a multi-million dollar engagement and Hexaware will provide business critical HR solutions to the customer. These solutions will be deployed globally using latest PeopleSoft versions and .NET technologies. This project is unique as it poses the challenges of global deployment. The new system would support all major Human Resources functions such as Performance Management, Recruiting, Regulatory Reporting, Benefits, Payroll, Employee Self Service and Stock Administration functions. Hexaware has already deployed a large team of experts and has successfully completed the first phase of this project. At peak load, a team of around 80 consultants will be involved in the project, which is scheduled for completion by early 2004. A spokesperson for the company said, "We are very happy to sign on Hexaware for this project. We evaluated many companies and chose Hexaware on the basis of their technology skills, past customer experience and their responsiveness and customer focus." The project comprises the following four phases - up gradation of the existing current PeopleSoft HRMS 7.02 to version 8.8 to make the system browser based for employees globally; implementation of new modules of PeopleSoft 8.8 that includes providing enhanced Data Warehousing based reporting capabilities; development of employee self service systems and tools using .NET technologies; and subsequent integration of the PeopleSoft and .Net technology platforms. The entire engagement will be handled using the onsite/offshore delivery methodology. Successful completion of this project will lead to a more integrated system for the customer resulting in increased ROI. Rusi Brij, CEO, Hexaware Technologies said, "This assignment further reinforces our No. 1 position as the leading PeopleSoft provider from India. We are delighted at having got this opportunity and look forward to a growing and mutually beneficial relationship." This engagement win is especially significant to Hexaware as the client chose Hexaware over several top global consulting companies.
