Chandigarh: Government employees in Haryana will get revised pay scales on the lines of the Sixth Pay Commission shortly, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said Saturday.

Hooda said the revised scales, according to the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, to all state government employees would be implemented with retrospective effect from January 2006.

The chief minister said the government had made a provision of 15 billion in the annual budget for this financial year to give the revised scales.
