CHANDIGARH: Haryana had attracted foreign direct investment (FDI) of 297.9 billion in three years, Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala said Wednesday. "Statements that Haryana has not received any FDI are baseless. We received 297.9 billion during the last three years and we are inviting more FDI to promote industry in a big way," he told reporters here. He said most of the Haryana based industrial units had set up their offices in the national capital of New Delhi, where their billing was being done. Therefore, despite their investment in Haryana, it was not being projected properly, he added.
