Customer premises equipment and subscriber units will be supplied by ICOMM, along with deployment and project management services. The company will supply 2,700 base stations to BSNL with the option for an additional 1,350 base station sectors. The network is expected to support 9 lakh broadband subscribers in Kerala. Braun said that the network is capable of providing mobile WiMAX by BSNL and it will represent one of the largest deployments of this technology in the world. "We understand that BSNL plans to deploy outdoor, indoor and USB dongle consumer premise equipment in the circle," he added.
