HP India rolls out Agile Accelerator solution

Bangalore: Addressing the customers' need to increase the quality of their applications and enhance productivity, Hewlett Packard (HP) India has unveiled Agile Accelerator, which would primarily focus on verticals like telecom, BFSI and government where software testing becomes even more critical in rapidly changing business scenarios.
Kamal Dutta, Director, HP Software and Solutions, Technology Solutions Group, said, "Agile Accelerator is part of our testing portfolio and is capable of handling a customer's complexities. Since most banks and telecom providers still have existing legacy applications, one of the top priorities for CIOs is to modernize existing legacy applications." HP Agile Accelerator helps software development teams improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of their business initiatives with predefined workflows, configurations and user reports.
Based on HP Quality Centre software and HP Application Lifecycle Management Consulting Services, HP Accelerator manages agile development projects from proposals to production while helping IT departments better meet their application modernization initiatives. Subbu Iyer, Vice President of Products, Application Lifecycle Management, HP Software and Solutions, HP, said, "With Agile quickly becoming a key methodology for application modernization, it is critical for customers to balance quality, performance and security standards with the need for speed."
By using agile accelerator for application modernization, customers can improve business agility with faster response to changing requirements; increase return on investment by delivering quality software and frequently throughout the application lifecycle and also enhance productivity through greater collaboration.
