HP India announces AllianceONE, a new alliance partner program

Bangalore: In a bid to provide better solutions to its clients, HP India has announced a new alliance partner program, AllianceONE, following the HP ISV Summit 2010 on July 14. The alliance partner program will offer framework for collaboration, which enables alliance partner to extend market reach and improve selling.
With AllianceONE, HP's alliance partners will include Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs), System Integrators (SIs), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). All these alliance partners will collaborate with HP to deliver solutions that can be tested across servers, storage, management software, networking, power & cooling, security and services.
HP AllianceONE partners are divided into three tiers, with certain criteria for each of them. AllianceONE Premier partners will have a significant worldwide presence with a high level of joint revenue. On the other hand, AllianceONE Select partners are industry players with strategic solutions and technology.
On the benefits of this collaboration, Faisal M. Paul, Head of marketing and solution alliances, HP ESSN, HP India said, "AllianceONE program provides a wide range of sales, marketing and business benefits. The framework will also help to improve client satisfaction with technical assistance as well."
"From the client's point of view, AllianceONE will offer clients choice and value. Alliance partners will help clients to focus on innovation that drives business growth", said Paul.
As of now, HP has about 6000 ISV partners around the globe, while in India, it has 250 ISV partners. "Alliance partners are a key enabler in HP's go-to-market strategy. Today, collaboration is of utmost importance for any company to deliver better services to its customers", said Paul.
