HDFC Q3 net up 29%

MUMBAI: Housing Development Finance Corporation today posted a 29 per cent increase in its third quarter net profit.
HDFC's net profit in the December ending quarter touched Rs 236 crore from Rs 183 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2003-04.
The company's income in the period under review has surged by 13.5 per cent to Rs 848 crore from Rs 747 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal.
HDFC's earnings per share in Q3 were at Rs 9.41 compared to an EPS of Rs 7.32 in the Q3 a year ago.
