HCL Tech pact with Agere Systems

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies has tied up with Agere Systems, a provider of semicondutors for storage, wireless data and public-enterprise networks.
'Under the terms of this agreement, teams from HCL will work with Agere on developing software solutions and provide customization and syatem integration services to Agere's customers. This tie up will allow equipment manufacturers to to spend more time in creating the differintiating, revenue-generating equipment features of their products, a company press release said.
As part of the pact, HCL Technologies ahs deployed a large set of engineers to work with Agere's team on developing and validating complete solutions based on Agere's network processors.
