HCL Tech Q2 net up 20%, to pay 100%

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies on Thursday posted a 20 per cent increase in net profit for the second quarter ending Dec 31, 2003 at Rs 99.4 crore. The company's gross revenue also increased by 33 per cent during the quarter to touch Rs 622.3 crore. Announcing an interim dividend of 100 per cent HCL Technologies Chairman and Chief Executive Office Shiv Nadar said, "I am delighted to report a quarter that has been most satisfying coming on the back of a turnaround in the business. It presages onset of a clear trend line of growth to enable an accelerated top line growth and improved margins".
