Guhring opens new manufacturing facility in Bangalore

BANGALORE: Germany based maker of rotary cutting tools Guhring, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Bangalore. Set up in a two-acre land, the facility will make an entire range of cutting tools for precision holes for the industrial sector. “We believe India is a growing and challenging market which offers the technological level of the European customers. With an investment of Euro 5 million over the last four years we are committed to the growth of the India facility. Our core customers are the cr mnufacturers and suppliers to the automobile industry. We also plan to increase our sales staff and our dealer network, which will in turn increase our service. With our facility in place and acceleration on sales and marketing we are confident of penetrating into the Indian market.” Dr Jorg Guhring - Proprietor & Owner, Guhring AG “We continuously enlarge the capacity in order to suit our customer requirement. After completion of its fifth year of operations in India, we decided to enlarge its capacity in its plant in Bangalore. Therefore we have built a new production and administration facility on two acres land.
