Guha appointed as Director-Channel Development at Hitachi Data Systems

Bangalore: Hitachi Data Systems, a provider of Application Optimized Storage solutions and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., today announced the appointment of Rahul Guha as director for channel development for the India market. Guha will be responsible for structuring and executing the overall India Partner Plan. Guha has 12 years of experience in the IT industry. As the Director for Channel Development, he will focus on outlining the partner mix across the enterprise and mid market segments, building a strong partner family and ensuring leadership status for Hitachi Data Systems in India. “We have aggressive goals to meet in the SMB space which makes channels extremely significant for us. Guha's appointment would help us leverage our extensive resources to the benefit of the company's channel partners,” said Glen Carroll, acting Channel Chief of APAC, Hitachi Data Systems Armed with a B.E. and an MBA, he has worked with Symantec, he was in charge of distribution and SMB channels across India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. Prior to that, he was with Computer Associates as Channel manager.
