NEW DELHI: Union aviation minister Praful Patel today said the governments would involve more private companies to develop 30 non-metro and six metro airports in the Country. "The 30 airports that we have identified are cities where the growth will come from. We plan to go in for a PPP initiative where the private sector will be involved with the development of the city side of these airports," the Minister said. Speaking about modernizing and restructuring Mumbai and New Delhi airports, Patel said the successful bidders will be identified by November and airport will be completed by 2010.
