Google acquires Indian founded company TalkBin

Bangalore: Montain View-based, TalkBin, the feedback platform for businesses has announced that it has been acquired by Google, reports TechCrunch. TalkBin allows customers to give immediate feedback to local businesses. Users can submit their opinions and critiques via mobile applications. The applications could be from Android and iOS as the homepage of TalkBin shows screenshots of the applications. Google sees a lot of potential in the service but Google will shut down the TalkBin feedback platform for a while. It plans to reopen the service with more options for the platform. The company was founded in December 2010 by Qasar Younis, Michael Ma, and Sunny Dhillon. Sunny Dhillon, graduated from University of California, Davis, in 2010 and ranked No.1 in Computer Engineering. He was a software engineer in Google. Though the terms of the deal weren't disclosed, Google said "We're thrilled to welcome the TalkBin team to Google. They've built a cool way for customers to engage with local businesses, and we think they'll be a great fit for our mobile and local teams." The message on the Talkbin website said, "We appreciate all the support and positive feedback we received from all of our partners and we're elated to join Google and get started."
